Optimized diagnostics at Schwabentor
At the beginning of 2017, we modernized our areas of examination and installed a new device to perform SPECT / CT.
The new SPECT / CT camera establishes the connection of functional information / metabolic information (by means of SPECT) and anatomical information (using CT).
This leads to better image quality, additional information with reduced radiation dose and increased patient comfort by a shorter examination period.
The new hybrid technology thus offers a higher sensitivity and specificity compared to SPECT alone. This leads e.g. to more efficient heart imaging and improved tumor staging.

Priv. Doz. Dr. med. H. Christian Rischke is a medical specialist in nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology and radiotherapy with more than 25 years of experience. He is contact person for SPECT/CT and PET/CT-diagnostics.
We offer a very broad spectrum of
PET/CT (Positron-Emission-Tomography/Comptuted-Tomography)
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging).
The spectrum of examinations includes many different Cancers, especially postate cancer using PSMA-PET/CT.
Office hours
Monday – Thursday 8 AM – 5 PM
Friday 8 AM – 2 PM
Lunch break is between 1 PM and 2 PM.
