Practice at Schwabentorplatz

Our main practice is located on the historic “Square Of The Last Barricade Of 1848”. This place is a reminder of the events of the Baden Revolution in 1848/49 and the end of the first republican uprising in Baden with the battle between federal troops and Republicans entrenched in Freiburg on Easter Monday, April 24th, 1848. Anselm Feuerbach, who spent his youth in Freiburg, lived in the building of our practice from 1839 to 1845. Anselm Feuerbach (born September 12th, 1829 in Speyer; † January 4th, 1880
in Venice) was one of the most important German painters in the second half of the 19th century.
